Sleeping Dogs 'Nightmare at Northpoint' DLC coming Halloween
by Steve Watts, Oct 15, 2012 9:30pm PDTLooking solely at Wei Shen's finishing moves in Sleeping Dogs, you'd think it was a horror game. (Oh, the meat grinders!) The game's first campaign-expanding DLC will make it that much closer to an outright horror game--just in time for Halloween. "Nightmare at Northpoint" will be available on October 30, perfect for preparing for the scariest day of the year.
United Front Games announced the DLC at New York Comic Con, saying it will allow them to "explore other aspects of Hong Kong cinema." The developers told Kotaku that the new mode will be reminiscent of Red Dead Redemption's similarly spooky Undead Nightmare, which also released near Halloween. So, depending on how literally they meant the comparison, we can probably expect Hong Kong mob-zombies.
