DmC: Devil May Cry retailer-exclusive pre-order bonuses revealed
by Andrew Yoon, Oct 08, 2012 2:30pm PDTDmC: Devil May Cry being a "AAA" title, of course it was going to have pre-order bonuses. Depending on which retailer you purchase the game from, you'll get some "souped-up" bonus weapons and "helpful items."
For example, GameStop is offering the "Samurai Pack," which transforms Dante's shotgun, scythe, and axe into "solid Samurai devastation." Whatever that means. You'll also get some upgrade points to instantly upgrade weapons and combos at the beginning of the game.
Best Buy is offering the "Golden Pack," which skins the aforementioned weapons gold. You'll also get access to the "Item Finder," helping you find hidden items. Finally, Amazon will transform Dante's three weapons into Bone weapons with the aptly-named "Bone Pack." This bonus includes access to the "Orb Harvester," which lets you upgrade Dante faster.
DmC: Devil May Cry will be available on January 15.
