Steam has gotten a little more social with the launch of the new Community update. The popular games storefront now has gained major revisions to its game pages, Groups, personal content, and Friends lists. All of the changes are focused on making it easier for users to find and share content.

As previously reported, the changes are categorized into four major parts. Game Hubs will now house their own discussion forums with content curated by the users. Groups will get their own discussion boards and personalization options. Your personal hub will filter all of your content into one place. And the Friends list is now separated from the Community section.

You can hit the new community page now and tinker with its new features.

Is it just me or did it destroy the whole steam forums and their (sometimes) precious informations?

Looking for the old forums? They're still available at http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/

Wonder if they plan on slowly phasing out these forums which I prefer =/

Thanks, I only used to access them through the "forums" link available with each game on my Library.
