Borderlands demake lets you loot in 2D
by Steve Watts, Aug 22, 2012 9:15pm PDTJust in case you're waiting Borderlands 2 to come out and pining for the simpler days of games that took place on a 2D plane, Gearbox has killed two birds with one stone. A Borderlands demake has launched as part of the campaign for the upcoming game, providing a fun throwback to a bygone era.
The browser game (via Joystiq) lets you select from four playable characters and blast away at roaming creatures. It probably doesn't quite have a gazillion guns, but it should be enough to hold you off until the real thing hits.
