Media Molecule working on another unannounced project
by Steve Watts, Aug 16, 2012 1:30pm PDTMedia Molecule finally announced its follow-up to the LittleBigPlanet series, titled Tearaway, at Sony's Gamescom press briefing. But the small studio just never stops building, and is actually working on another unannounced project as well.
"We're working on a second project right now, and that's very much in an R&D phase," Media Molecule's Mark Healy told Eurogamer.
Studio co-founder Alex Evans made it clear that the new project isn't sapping resources from Tearaway. "We call it in a holding pattern," he said, "because the focus is on Tearaway. I'm not saying that from a press angle - our focus is on Tearaway and making it awesome. The other project is very much in an early stage and is a toy. You don't need to worry about it."
Tearaway is being worked on by a team of 15, and Evans says "Media Molecule is a lot more than 15 people."
