Shack PSA: Prototype 2 out on PC today

Prototype 2 released on consoles in April, and critics and fans alike responded with a resounding, "sure, alright." PC users were left out in the cold at the time, because that's the way some games roll. But if you're suffering the summer doldrums and want in on a decent game, you can pick up the newly-available PC version.

All PC copies include the Radnet Edition extras to boot. The PC version costs $49.99. Activision also detailed the minimum and recommended specs:

Minimum Specs:

• Windows® XP/Vista/7

• Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom X3 8750

• 2 GB Memory

• NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT series with 512 MB RAM or ATI Radeon HD 4850 with 512 MB RAM

• DirectX Version 9.0C or later

• 10 GB Disk Space

• Any DirectX 9 compatible Sound Card

Recommended Specs:

• Windows® 7

• Intel Core 2 Quad 2.7 GHz or better, AMD Phenom II X4 3 GHz or better

• 4 GB Memory
