UNO & Friends coming to iOS, Android, 3DS, Vita, and Facebook
by Andrew Yoon, Jul 23, 2012 3:00pm PDTUNO is not the loneliest number. In fact, it has friends. Gameloft is proving that with yet another video game adaptation of the popular card game, UNO & Friends.
Coming later this year is a new multiplatform UNO game that connects iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, and Facebook players in cross-platform real-time multiplayer battles. The game will also support voice and text chat modes, as well.
In addition to the iOS, Android, and Facebook versions launching this year, Gameloft is also readying downloadable versions of the game for 3DS and Vita. It seems unlikely these platforms will offer the same cross-platform functionality of the smartphone version, but we've reached out to Gameloft for comment. The Vita and 3DS versions of the game will be available in spring 2013.
