Sony closing MotorStorm Pacific Rift, various PSP multiplayer servers
by Steve Watts, Jul 23, 2012 1:00pm PDTIf you still throw down in years-old PlayStation exclusives, you need to get your multiplayer time in while you can. Sony has announced that some of its older online multiplayer servers will be shutting down later this year, including MotorStorm Pacific Rift and a handful of PSP games.
MotorStorm and its PSP counterpart Arctic Edge are slated to shut down their servers on October 1, reports GamesIndustry.biz. The PSP game SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 will also be closed that date. Eye of Judgment Legends will shut down about a month earlier, on August 31.
