Weekend Confirmed 122 - DYAD, Borderlands 2, Metro 2033
by Garnett Lee, Jul 20, 2012 6:00pm PDTGarnett and the two Jeffs are joined by regular guest Andrea Rene this week to liven up the summer gaming drought with discussions about a number of games and some recent news. The psychedelic action game DYAD gets praised some more, and some fresh Borderlands 2 details are shared. In the spirit of clearing out summer backlogs, Garnett finally dives into the post-apocalyptic Russian subway system of Metro 2033, and comes away quite impressed. The mild controversy surrounding the Fez patch also gets discussed, before the crew brings it all home with Finishing Moves.

On Specs Ops. I just finished the game. I have to say we had more decision to make toward the very end of the game then all the game before a certain point ( from chparter 12 really ). The game has several endings, which is cool. But Yager cleraly failed to deliver on the promises. Still, that's a grat start and I hope they will go fo a more decision driven sequel.
On Borderlands 2. I'm not interested in that agme whatsoever. I don't understand why it is so hyped. I will give it a try as I love Gearbox work.
On Halo 4. That's my most expected game this year ( with Zombie U ). I'm a huge Halo fan and I think 343 are going to deliver ! That was quite mission impossible as nobody really believed that someone could wear Bungie shoes.
Great once again guys :)

I don't get the "hypocritical", super-hype for it. I mean, it's more Borderlands with some new features, which describes most sequels these days, most of which get shit for being....well, more of the same game with new features.
