Anomaly: Warzone Earth invading PS3 with local co-op
by Alice O'Connor, Jul 13, 2012 6:45am PDT11 Bit's decent tower offense game Anomaly: Warzone Earth will come to PlayStation 3, too, the developer has announced, with shiny new local co-op. It'll land on PlayStation Network later this summer.
Anomaly's somewhat the opposite of a tower defense, in that you have to move a convoy of vehicles through hostile territory, plotting the perfect route to evade and destroy their defenses.
And on PS3 you'll be able to have a chum beside you, helping out. 11 Bit explains, "One commander controls the squad as the other plans strategy, while both use their reflexes and wits to deploy abilities and help to boost the other."
Anomaly originally hit PC in April 2011, then spread to iOS, Android and Xbox Live Arcade.
