Marvel vs Capcom 2 coming to iPhone
by Steve Watts, Apr 20, 2012 3:00pm PDTUpon hearing that Marvel vs Capcom 2 is coming to iPhone and iPod Touch, you probably have a few reasonable questions. Questions like: "really?" and "why?" and "can we take it for a ride?" The answers are yes, we don't know, and stop stealing our bad jokes. We need those.
Yes, apparently Capcom feels MvC2 isn't widely available enough across six platforms, so it's giving you another opportunity to beat up Iron Man as Magneto and Tron Bonne. The Capcom Unity blog gives word that it will hit the App Store on April 25, bizarrely without an iPad version. It will sport the full 56-character roster to boot. Pricing hasn't been announced yet, but the iOS Street Fighter IV currently goes for $4.99.
The screens released so far aren't exactly gorgeous, but they'll do in a pinch if you really need your cross-promotional hyperactive fighting game on the bus with you.
