ToeJam & Earl creator working on new game for Sony
by Andrew Yoon, Apr 18, 2012 1:30pm PDTGreg Johnson has been in the industry for a long time, best known for working on the ToeJam & Earl series. His studio, HumaNature Studios is working on a new "sweet and charming and very quirky" game for Sony, likely for the Vita.
A job listing discovered by superannuation notes that the game "targets a cross-gender audience and a broad age-range" and promises to "push the boundaries of interactive emotional AI and visual story-telling." Games cited as possible inspirations include ICO, Beyond Good and Evil, Animal Crossing, Scribblenauts, and LittleBigPlanet.
While little else is known about the game, another post reveals that the art style for the game will be the one employed on the studio's official website (seen above).
