Weekend Confirmed 102 - SSX, Binary Domain, Vita
by Garnett Lee, Mar 03, 2012 12:00am PSTGDC looms on the horizon next week but there's no quiet before the storm. Christian Spicer and James Stevenson join Jeff and Garnett for a show stacked with great games. SSX, Binary Domain, and Syndicate co-op lead the pack, and there's still plenty more to talk about with the PlayStation Vita. The conversations also cover some of your games that drive you right to the brink but keep you coming back for more and hoped-for inclusions in the rumored to be announced SimCity 5. And that's just some of the talk that races by along the way before Finishing Moves caps it all off.

At the time I thought that sounded a little silly.
Now I realize, I have that game too. Or rather, that franchise. For me, it's Assassin's Creed. From setting(s) to gameplay, from style to story, everything about the games hits a note for me. I power through the AC games like most people power through levels in COD multiplayer.
AC3 has, with an announcement, a concept, some art, and a few screens, lept past Bioshock Infinite, Mass Effect 3, Halo 4 and every other game this year as my most anticipated game of the year.
So members of the Shack community. What's that game for you? The one that feels as though it was made just for you?

The game constantly dares you to try and pull off amazing 'superman' feates; be it jumping off the top of a 400 meter spire in the hopes of hijacking a gunship that is flying past, or sneaking ninja-style into an enemy base with the hopes of grabbing a flag and making it out alive.
When you pull off these feates, you feel like the MOST ULTIMATE BADASS OF ALL TIME. But when you don't quite pull it off, its even BETTER because your failure usually results in something completely hilarious happening :D
The best part is that this basic trade-off somehow carries through every element of the game.... campaign, firefight, competitive multiplayer, etc.
