MLB 12: The Show offers discount on combined Vita & PS3 purchase

Some games can be played across both PS3 and PS Vita. Some of these games need to purchased all over again, like Capcom's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Other games can be played on both machines with one purchase, like Hustle Kings and MotorStorm RC. And now, other games will be discounted when purchasing both versions.

MLB 12: The Show has a number of cross-platform features, such as a universal save file between both versions. To persuade you to take advantage of these features, Sony is offering a discount when purchasing both versions of the game.

The PS3 version of the game will retail for $59.99. The Vita version of the game will retail for $39.99. However, you'll be able to buy both with an instant $20 discount at "select retailers." That means you'll be able to get the Vita/PS3 bundle for $79.99.
