Assassin's Creed Revelations fans kill their way to free map variant
by Xav de Matos, Jan 26, 2012 3:30pm PSTThe deadly force of Assassin's Creed Revelations fans have helped unlock a new map variant in an event dubbed the "Kill Count Community Unlock Challenge." After successfully achieving a goal of "over 15 million kills" in the game's multiplayer mode across all platforms, Ubisoft has given players a new variant of the Ippokratous Night map.
We've asked Ubisoft for more details on the variant, but haven't heard back at the time of publishing.
The unlock is specific to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, Ubisoft told fans on its Facebook page. All variant maps had already been unlocked as a goodwill gesture to PC players after the holidays.
