Darkness 2 demo coming soon, early for Xbox Live Gold
by Steve Watts, Jan 12, 2012 7:30am PSTA demo for The Darkness II will be hitting in just a couple of weeks, but even sooner if you happen to be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber. The trial will be available on January 24 on Steam, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live Marketplace. However, Gold members can snag it next week, on January 17.
The staggered release also mentions January 25 for the PlayStation Network in Europe and Asia, so we yanks don't have too much of a leg up on it. The game itself is due on February 7, after having been delayed from it's October target last year. The game is terribly violent as one might expect, and adds a New Game + and co-op mode to boot.
