Report: Zynga registers domains for ForestVille
by Steve Watts, Dec 05, 2011 12:15pm PSTYou can never have too many 'Ville games, or at least that seems to be Zynga's strategy. Recently registered domain names suggest the social games giant is planning a new game, though details are notably scarce. Are you ready for ForestVille?
Fusible (via Joystiq) reports that brand protection company MarkMonitor, frequently used by Zynga to register domains, recently registered names like Forestvillewithfriends.com and ForestvilleZynga.com. Oddly enough, though, Forrestville.com is owned by the Forestville Central High School District in New York. Zynga has registered a few typos of the same, along with the plain Forestville name in various other territories.
Zynga's social games tend to involve building and customizing your own space while sharing resources with friends, be it farms or castles. We're going to take a shot in the dark and say ForestVille involves trees, which should be a nice change of pace if you're tired of FarmVille, CastleVille, CityVille, FishVille, PetVille, or YoVille.

Zynga has reportedly registered various domains for ForestVille through its usual brand protection company MarkMonitor, implying that yet another Ville game is on the way.
