NeverDead releases January 31, DLC promised
by Andrew Yoon, Dec 02, 2011 6:30pm PSTNeverDead hasn't received too much buzz--and for good reason. It's not very good. The too-clever-for-its-own-good shooter from Metal Gear Acid producer Shinta Nojiri has a zany premise. But, sloppy execution made assuming the role of an immortal demon hunter more cumbersome than fun.
Hopefully, developer Rebellion Software has had enough time to polish the game up, as Konami has announced a release date: January 31st.
Although NeverDead doesn't feature a multiplayer mode, Konami is already promising DLC for the game. But, wouldn't it be wise for the publisher to gauge the success of its new IP before attempting to make post-launch content?
NeverDead will be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

NeverDead, Konami's shooter from Metal Gear Acid producer Shinta Nojiri, has been dated. And, of course, Konami is teasing DLC for the not-very-hyped game.
