Dance Central song importing costs $5

Dance Central 2 will let you import songs from the original game... at a cost.

Sure, Dance Central 2 lets you import songs and routines from the original Kinect game. But, before you rush to Evacuate the Dance Floor, you should note that nabbing the 32 songs off the disc will come with a fee: 400 Microsoft Points, or $5. In addition, you'll need an additional 250MB of storage space on your hard drive, to hold the re-downloaded songs.

Of course, there's a way to Drop it Like It's Hot for free. Microsoft has announced that pre-orders of the game at GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, and the Microosft Store will come with a 400 Microsoft Point bonus--enough to cover the cost of the transfer. Combine the 32 songs from the original game with the 40 expected in the sequel, and you'll be sweating to over 70 songs once the game comes out on October 25th.
