Works for me (on steam) I also installed a 1.5 mod that added a bunch of new maps and gamemodes and playable NPCs ect. It's worth it if you have some peeps to play with.

How is Darksiders with KB/Mouse controls, as good as say Batman Arkham Asylum?

It's good but the inventory ui feels a bit clunky. Gameplay is fun though!

Darksiders is amazing. It's a pretty good PC port. It's optimized correctly, controls feel and use fine and the game itself is a very good hack and slash.

The only problem I've had so far is that on the first start up, there was a small hitch and I just had to restart it. Everyone gets it and it only happens once.

Worth the 40k Space Marine Pre-Order and I would've payed about $30-40 for it either way. Not enough longevity to justify a $50 or $60 price tag though.

Yeah I played it on PS3, might give it a go on PC if the controls are decent.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked with kb+m. Took me a little bit to get used to but once I did it was quite natural to use.

I bought a wired 360 controller specifically for it after trying M+KB, and I am diehard M+KB.

My problem with it is the puzzles. In fact my save right now is half way through some puzzle and it's been so long I don't know wtf. Tried finding my place in some walkthroughs and just lost interest.

But if you must pick one, make it Republic Commando for uber gameplay.

Commando is great, but I believe it has minor graphical issues. I can find video of them, if you want.

It's related to modern ATI cards and enabling bump mapping to the max.

So the consensus is, if I pick 1 game, it should be Republic Commando?

Out of the three, you will get the most out of Empire at War. It has a fantastic mod scene.

The mod scene got pretty lolz. "Hey look it's the Eclipse! Hey it's taking up 75% of the map!"

All three are great, though you could skip Battlefront II if you had to pick two.

The Battlefront games are a lot of fun if you enjoy combined arms style gameplay a-la Battlefield. The bot support isn't too bad. I don't believe there are many people playing it online anymore though.

Republic Commando is fun but a bit too linear for my own tastes. YMMV.

Cant believe nobody has mentioned the Tex Murphy series, one of my favorte series of games of all times, such great stories and humor. Found out that the original makers of the series are back together and that there might be another Tex game when/if they get enough funding so I bought the games just to support them even though I still have all the original games(and replay them every 5 years or so :)
