Battlefield 3 co-op demoed at Gamescom
by Steve Watts, Aug 16, 2011 8:30am PDTAt EA's Gamescom press conference today, the company announced and debuted the new co-op mode for Battlefield 3. The presentation demoed the mode in action on the PlayStation 3, showing off synchronized shots to quietly take down enemies and reviving your partner. The mode will include ground and air vehicles as well.
Unfortunately, that demo won't be available yet. EA promises to make the video available within two hours. We'll update the post when it arrives. Until then, you may want to check out this new trailer instead. EA closed the show with a new trailer that highlights the return of jets to the series.

I think it would actually be really cool to have no indicators on-screen of where an enemy is. This way there can be a "spotting" skill, specialist, or button one would press to highlight the target, which would then be marked for all to see.
I'm sure they could find a way to balance that.
