Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition revealed
by Steve Watts, Jul 19, 2011 1:55pm PDTIt shouldn't come as any surprise that the highly-anticipated Batman: Arkham City is also getting the special edition treatment. The Collector's Edition will come alongside the game for $99, and will be available on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. As with any collector's edition, the real question is what goodies are meant to tempt you into spending that extra forty dollars?
The haul in Arkham City looks pretty impressive. The CE includes a custom Batman statue from Kotobukiya, art book, a digital soundtrack with original songs from "hit artists," the DC Universe animated movie Gotham Knight, and four collectible cards. And lest you forget that there's a game in there too, you'll also get early access to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map and a character skin from the upcoming Christopher Nolan movie, The Dark Knight Returns.
The special edition, like the regular edition of the game, is due on October 18.
