First look at Battlefield 3 'Battlelog' via pulled screenshots
by Steve Watts, Jul 15, 2011 11:00am PDTWe seem to have gotten an early look at Battlefield 3's Battlelog, thanks to screenshots that spent a short time on the German Battlefield site (via Battlefieldo). The screens show off the community feed, chat, and profile features, but they were quickly pulled from the site for unspecified reasons.
This seems to be taking some cues from Autolog, the racing community features introduced in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and now being applied to EA's other racing franchises. Social shooting features are evidently the hip trend this year, with rival Activision's own chief shooter franchise Call of Duty also launching social features, through the subscription-based Elite service.
