Limbo rated for PS3 in Asia
by Andrew Yoon, Jun 29, 2011 5:00pm PDTPlaydead's well-reviewed moody Xbox Live hit, Limbo, may be coming to PS3. GameSetWatch has discovered a listing for a PS3 version of the game on the Korean Rating Board. Unsurprisingly, the game received a Mature rating. More surprising is the publisher attached to the port: Sony Computer Entertainment Korea. (Microsoft published the Xbox 360 version of the game.)
This isn't the first time a PS3 version of Limbo appeared on a ratings board. Last year, the ESRB rated Limbo for both PS3 and PC, which the developer claimed was simply a mistake.
Still, this new listing (with a new publisher!) is far enough removed from Limbo's release that it makes a PlayStation Network port seem all the more likely. Previous Xbox Live "Summer of Arcade" exclusives, like Braid and Castle Crashers, eventually found release on Sony's home console. We've reached out to the developers for a comment.
