Free Zelda: Ocarina of Time soundtrack offer now online
by Steve Watts, Jun 19, 2011 12:00pm PDTThough it was announced during Nintendo's recent E3 press briefing, the company has now shared details on the free soundtrack CD available for registering The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. The CD includes 50 tracks, "many never before released," plus a fully orchestrated medley. Liner notes include character illustrations and a message from Shigeru Miyamoto and Koji Kondo.
If you've have a copy in-hand, you can start the process now. Register your copy of the game through Club Nintendo, and you'll be given a prompt to accept the CD offer. Shipping is free, and should arrive within 2-4 weeks. Plus, you have to be a resident of the US or Canada, over the age of 13.
Nintendo has referred to this as a limited edition soundtrack, but hasn't specified just how limited it is. Chances are there will be enough to last for fans eager enough to pick up the game on day one, but you might not want to risk it. Better safe than sorry.
