BloodRayne: Betrayal coming in August
by Steve Watts, Jun 09, 2011 12:30pm PDTBloodRayne: Betrayal, the downloadable hack-and-slash based on the vampire series, is coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early August, reports Joystiq. A Majesco rep apparently stated the launch window, along with a price of $15 (1200 MSP).
Though BloodRayne titles haven't enjoyed a sterling reputation, you may want to pay attention to this one. It's being developed by WayForward Technologies, the studio behind retro-inspired cult hits like Shantae: Risky's Revenge, Contra 4, and A Boy and His Blob.
The developer has gotten attention for its side-scrolling chops, and this game is letting them explore more violent themes. And by "violent," we mean, "does a body even have that much blood?"
