Luigi's Mansion 2 announced for 3DS
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 07, 2011 4:50pm PDTMario's goofy brother Luigi is getting back into the ghost-busting business with a sequel to vintage Gamecube game Luigi's Mansion, Nintendo announced during its E3 press briefing. Luigi's Mansion 2, as it's tentatively named, will see Luigi bringing his vacuum to Nintendo 3DS.
"Luigi's Mansion 2 is not a simple revision," said Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime. "It's an entirely new game, making extraordinary use of 3D and featuring not just one, but several new mansions."
It's due to launch in 2012.
