One of the first games affected by the tragic earthquake and tsunami disasters in Japan has emerged with a new release date. Tecmo Koei has announced [via Andriasang] that its upcoming 3DS-exclusive fighter Dead or Alive Dimensions will launch in Japan on May 19.
Earlier today, Nintendo revealed its upcoming release list for North America, which included a May release for the title.
SpotPass DLC for DoA costumes has also seen a release date shift and an availability extension. One new, free costume will be available per day from May 19 through June 21. Then, beginning June 23 and running until July 26, the free DLC promotion will run again.
Dead or Alive Dimensions was originally scheduled to launch on the Nintendo 3DS on March 24, before the Japan disasters struck.
