Gears of War 3 Launches September 20

I never thought I'd be someone to like a game like gears of war, I'm not an avid FPS player and the story is too shabby for me. The thing is that it's really quite fun, I really enjoy the gameplay and I think that they did a great job on gears 2, I hope gears 3 is just as good.
Microsoft has a weak line-up this year not including kinect. I’m worried and I think instead of paying millions to get a COD map pack early they should spend the money on new IP’s. Loads or people have gold accounts on LIVE but they need to add new features to keep people paying, here in the UK there’s really not much and we can’t even get BBC iplayer because Microsoft doesn’t want silver members being able to access free streams and the BBC does. I hear Sony might give PlayStation Pro subscribers the ability to back up games online, Microsoft should look to do the same, In another 5 years we might just have phones as powerful as the PS3, a 10 year console cycle might be too long. I’ve got to say though the windows phone 7 with kinect integration tech demo really did look kinda cool.
