Bulletstorm PC Demo Coming After Launch
by Alice O'Connor, Feb 21, 2011 2:00pm PSTWhile Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners have been able to play a Bulletstorm demo for almost a month now, PC gamers were given the cold shoulder. Thankfully, there's now word that the poor lambs will also get to try out People Can Fly and Epic's shooter.
"Bulletstorm PC demo is in the works!" Epic Games co-founder Mark Rein proclaimed on Twitter. "Won't make it in time for ship date but should be available shortly after."
The Bulletstorm demo, at least the console edition, contains a very short snippet of Bulletstorm's single-player campaign, played in the 'Echo' score attack mode.
Bulletstorm launches tomorrow on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, published by EA.

As a PC Gamer only, I hate nothing more than picking up a game with a serious case of "consolitis". Big ass fonts, unoptimised interface, shoddy graphics, dumbed down gameplay, etc, etc.
The reason the PC Gamer crowd demand more, is because a PC can DO more. Top class developers have proved it time and time again.
Before the flaming starts, allow me to tell you in advance to just look at the facts. PC games are in general more sophisticated, that's all, it's what we've come to expect. There are exceptions to the rule of course, Metal Gear Solid still remains one of my favourite games of all time, but alas, I digress.
In short, I hope it doesnt play on PC like a lazy port. Seeing as PC Gamers made Epic what they are, it would be harsh to shit on our heads in such a fasion.
