Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Bringing 'The Da Vinci Disappearance' DLC in March
by Steve Watts, Feb 17, 2011 12:45pm PSTUbisoft announced its first piece of paid downloadable content for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood today, a single- and multiplayer add-on called "The Da Vinci Disappearance." It will be available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in early March and cost $10 (800 MS Points).
In the single-player portion, Ezio's friend (and "Q") Leonardo Da Vinci is kidnapped by an underground cult seeking to transform mankind. If you're thinking that the title and plot sound a lot like a Dan Brown novel, you're observant. To get his friend back, Ezio has to track down stolen paintings that will lead him to Da Vinci. The mission promises two new locations and two new "gameplay features."
The add-on will also bring one new map, four new characters, and two new game modes to the game's multiplayer. The new map, Alhambra, is set in Granada, and the new characters include the Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis, and the Pariah. The new "Escort" mode revolves around protecting a VIP target, while "Assassinate" is a ten-minute death-match mode.
