Morning Discussion
Go, look, demo, play, buy, stop grumbling about how many cheeseburgers, movies on VHS, pencils, drawing pins or grains of sand you could buy for $15.

Good morning shack!
What are your plans today? Anything fun planned (like gaming)?
After work I'm going to finish up Mass Effect 2 (PS3) and then play some more Two Worlds 2.-

The voice acting is horrible. So bad. One thug I ran into last night sounded like it was probably the sound engineers mother, tucking her chin in and pushing her chest out to sound like I burly man. Not kidding.
The fighting is wack-wack button masher during melee combat with a tempermental auto-targeting system. Ranged combat seems to work ok.
The inventory system has no way to sort items so after a while it can be a pain to find things.
The first hour of the game is extremely boring, but I persisted because I've been craving an open world wrpg. Once the game opens up I couldn't stop pushing forward despite it's flaws.
Also, it's a really good looking game, lockpicking is a lot of fun, locations have so far been varied & Intetesting to explire and, for whatever reason, it actuslly is slightly charming in a wonky sort of way.-
Yeah the RPS Wot I Think said a lot of the same

I find it funny that they said all the animals are painstaking detail and then the voice acting is just horrible. -
WTF "The voice acting is horrible" you think the voice acting is bad?
Do you mean the main char or the NPC's?
Also do mean cheesy lines or that the voice its self is lame?
I really enjoy it, I think the voice is totally fine doesn't bother me at all, it actually makes me laugh some times there is some cool humor in it maybe not your style.
I thought the main char sounds cool, strange. -

I'm on way (again) to play through both Mass Effects. right now in part 2, though this is the first time I played the back to back. amazing how much better the sequel is technically. It also starts pretty great, on par with part one. only the game IMO takes a dip afterwards. I enjoy those small episodes but I am really missing the feeling of playing a huge part in an epic plot. Instead I'm in a space sitcom.
otherwise I'm probably playing my usual 1-2 ladder games of starcraft 2 if I feel like it.
Dead Space 2 already arrived but I planned to play at least extraction before that (started it on wii but didn't play far.) also I may be checking out that arcade tie-in hacker game since I enjoy the story a lot. if I feel hardcore enough I might even play through part 1 again before that. whoever designed the visuals and sound effects of that deserves some kind of medal. gives me the same whoa scifi feel as sunshine which I totally dig.
