Brink and Hunted: The Demon's Forge Get Release Dates

Bethesda Softworks today treated us to release dates for two of the games from its publishing portfolio, namely Brink (May 17 in North America, May 20 in Europe) and Hunted: The Demon's Forge (June 1 in NA, June 3 for those foreign places).

Splash Damage's Brink is a class-based, objective-driven and multiplayer-centric shooter--first-person, not third as its 'screenshots' show--which also happens to be one of my most-anticipated games of 2011. inXile's Hunted, on the other hand, is a fantasy action game with co-op, starring a bloke with a sword and a lady with a bow.

Both games will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Bethesda is going to be huge soon, they've got a lot of massive money spinners coming this year. Hopefully they can hurt arseholes like Activision without becoming arseholes themselves.

I'm really looking forward to Brink too.. Both Enemy Territory's were fantastic (Quake Wars was underrated IMHO). Splash Damage has a fun formula going on...

For my girlfriend and I this is easily one of the most anticipated games for us this year. ET:QW was a solid game that never really got the attention it deserved from the press or the community. I think this game has a real strong chance of being a hit. Either way, it's already a pre-order for us.

I've been looking forward to Bring for about a year now. With its parkour character movement and online communication muted by default in exchange for in-game given orders, I am hoping it will be an fps game changer.
