Akuma and Taskmaster Added to Marvel vs. Capcom 3
by Xav de Matos, Jan 17, 2011 10:30am PSTMarvel's assassin-for-hire and the evil brother of Ryu's mentor in Capcom's Street Fighter franchise are sneaking their way onto the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster.
Revealed in video form today by IGN, the decription for Akuma reveals that the character will be added as a hidden character in the game. There is no mention of how Taskmaster fits into the roster, other than the fact that he will bring his move-copying skills into the battlefield when squaring-off against the rest of the MvC3 roster.
Previous roster updates have included such pleasant surprises as Capcom's Mike Haggar and Marvel's She-Hulk. Introduction videos for Akuma and Taskmaster are embedded after the break.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds launches for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 15.
