Hard Corps: Uprising Priced at 1200MS Points
by Xav de Matos, Jan 12, 2011 9:00am PSTAs you may have heard, Microsoft is set to launch a new digital download-focused promotion with the Xbox Live Arcade "House Party" next month. Leading the charge is Konami's Hard Corps: Uprising, a title crafted by Guilty Gear and BlazBlue developer Arc System Works.
Konami revealed that when Hard Corps: Uprising launches on February 16, it will carry a price-tag of 1200MS Points ($15). The game is also slated for release on the PlayStation Network at some point; however, it has previously been noted that Microsoft requires a window of exclusivity for games released during heavily publicized XBLA-based promotions--specifically the Summer of Arcade.
It's unclear if titles released during the "House Party" promotion fall under the same "requirements" as Microsoft's Summer of Arcade. Shacknews has contacted Konami to find out when PlayStation 3 owners can expect to blast through Contra's "spiritual sequel."
Other titles coming to the Xbox Live Arcade during the "House Party" include Ubisoft's Beyond Good & Evil HD, Torchlight, the Xbox 360 Avatar-starring Full House Poker and PopCap's Bejeweled Blitz Live.

Can not wait, hope its as good as Alien Wars or Contra 4. To me Arc System Works + Contra = Win, the old style would of been cool, but they had their chance on the PS2 with that, and it was just not even close to Alien Wars.
Anyways I am all for it, strange the Contra 4 team did not make it though?
