Evening Reading
by Garnett Lee, Jan 11, 2011 5:00pm PSTWell, it turned out that my gut feeling about Oregon was misplaced. Both teams played their hearts out after a slow first quarter, but in the closing minutes Auburn showed how battle-hardened playing in the SEC had made them. Only a few NFL games left too, but boy are there some great match-ups taking shape--big time rivalries like Ravens vs. Steelers and Jets vs. Patriots, two exciting offenses in Falcons vs. Packers, and the Cinderella story Seahawks vs. the Bears.
While we're ticking off the time for the games to arrive this weekend, here's the top video game stories from today on the Shack:

Assassin's Creed II came to the PC and just came out for the Mac. And the only reason I know this is because Steam is advertising it.
It makes me wonder if they only ported it to the Mac because it a larger number of Mac gamers now can even see it. Could Valve actually accomplish what Apple couldn't: make the Mac a viable gaming platform?
