Michael Jackson: The Experience Sales Hit 2 Million
by Alice O'Connor, Jan 07, 2011 2:00pm PSTIt's easy to crack jokes about sparkly gloves and the eerie digital spectre of a deceased pop star but Michael Jackson: The Experience is another handy reminder that many types of video games are popular, not only those about shooting people in the face.
The dance 'em up has sold-through two million units since launching on November 23, Ubisoft announced today. The publisher notes that this figure doesn't include Japan, where the game has yet to launch but "which has one of the largest and most passionate concentrations of Michael Jackson fans anywhere." More sales there, then.
The figures also do not include the Xbox 360 Kinect and PlayStation Move editions, which aren't out yet. They'll be released in Europe on April 14, Ubisoft says, and we presume North America a day before that. Each of these will have exclusive features.
