Activision Titles Featured in Week-Long Direct2Drive Sale; Singularity 50% Off Today
by Xav de Matos, Dec 20, 2010 4:00pm PSTNot to be outdone by its major competitor in the digital distribution world, Direct2Drive has taken a more manageable approach to its deals and discounts this week.
Beginning today and running until Thursday, select titles in the Activision catalog will be discounted. Today's featured deal places a giant 50% off sticker on the underrated, Raven Software-developed shooter, Singularity.
Throughout the rest of the week, users can nab discounted digital copies of Blur, Gun, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.
We're not saying the selection is completely disappointing; however, we're not sure why Activision wouldn't use this opportunity to push even more sales for its major, blockbuster franchise. It looks like we'll just have to pay full price for our second copy of Monster Jam.
- Activision Publisher's Week on Direct2Drive
- Monday: Singularity - $19.95 (50% off from $39.95)
- Tuesday: Blur - 50% off
- Wednesday: GUN - 50% off
- Thursday: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines - 50% off
Direct2Drive also has a number of other titles on sale, so make sure to take a peek at the site's selection of special offers.

I haven't played the other three, but I've heard that Blur was a fun game that was overshadowed by a bad release window, and plenty of people liked Vampire: Bloodlines back when it was the first significant third-party game to use the Source engine.
