Mass Effect 3 Confirmed for Holiday 2011
by Brian Leahy, Dec 11, 2010 5:50pm PSTThe first trailer for Mass Effect 3 has been shown at the Spike VGA 2010 show, confirming the EA Store slip-up which listed the game for pre-order yesterday. The trailer shows a besieged Earth under attack from a new enemy.
The trailer lists the game for a Holiday 2011 release. No platforms were confirmed, but it's likely PC and Xbox 360 are definite for that date.

If this is the case and I can no longer travel around the galaxy as Shepard and instead this is Mass Effect : Black Ops, my NERD RAGE will have no restraints.
Anyways, I like a good shooter as much as the next guy, but seriously, I hope they don't streamline this one more so than Mass Effect 2 and it ends up being only a FPS with absolutely nothing remotely RPG-ish.

The whole trilogy has been leading up to you rounding up every friend that's still alive from every planet they're left on, bringing them together, and then going to earth for the big showdown with the Reapers.
Also, Leahy, besieged by a new enemy? You mean the enemy from both Mass Effect games?
