Dragon Age 2 Trailer Talks Origins
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 09, 2010 12:00pm PSTThe origins of Dragon Age 2 are discussed in the first 'making of' trailer, with members of developer BioWare talking about the early days of the fantasy RPG sequel's development, when the broad strokes were still being worked out.
Thoughts offered include executive producer Mark Darrah's musing "If you're telling a dark fantasy, you don't want combat to feel like you're playing a chess game with a friend." Unfortunately, when I played twenty minutes of the Xbox 360 edition earlier this year, it felt like poor and dated beat 'em up combat had been bolted onto Dragon: Age Origins' tactical stylings. This time, "the new shit" is more than marketing.
Dragon Age 2 is due out for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 8, 2011.

Then again, Bioware died a few years ago when they shifted the types of games they were making, joined up with EA. The retarded green screen with the devs talking in front of them just solidify how far they've fallen. I much prefer how Relic shows off their gameplay....by showing gameplay footage and not some nerdy dev with a lack of social skills in front of a green screen talking about their game but only showing about 3 seconds of actual gameplay for every 57 seconds they're showing me their face.
