Operation Flashpoint: Red River Trailer Sets the Stage
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 23, 2010 6:00am PSTLast week, Codemasters unveiled the first screenshots and a live-action trailer for its Operation Flashpoint: Red River. Today, there's new screenshots and the first in-game trailer. Hopefully, next time, we might get to see how the game actually plays and be spared any further strange and terrible voice-overs.
The trailer features a marine's poetic musings, setting the stage for the battlefield shooter sequel and the tense situation that's arisen in Tajikistan.
Developed internally at Codemasters, Operation Flashpoint: Red River is slated for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the first quarter of 2011. OFP creator Bohemia Interactive is uninvolved, working instead on its own military sim series, ARMA.
