Flottila Dev Announces 'Atom Zombie Smasher'
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 22, 2010 6:40am PSTYou might be feeling a little tired of zombies but given indie developer Blendo Games' tip-top track record, including Gravity Bone and Flotilla, you might want to pay attention to its new strategy game Atom Zombie Smasher, which was unveiled today.
Set during the 1961 zombie apocalypse--remember that?--Atom Zombie Smasher will have players rescuing civilians from infected cities with a team of mercenaries. And a nuclear-capable orbital battlestation. Campaigns are procedurally-generated, giving a different apocalypse each time, and it'll support co-op for up to three players.
Atom Zombie Smasher is due to be released on PC, Mac and Linux "soon." Blendo has yet to announce the price.
