Maybe this doesn't fit because I don't know if Assassin's Creed sold well or not, but I know it was critically not very well received. Ubi saw potential and took a shot at a sequel. The result was a game of the year contender (and one of my all time favorites). That was a good business decision.
Cutting your losses on something that has the potential to be a winner is not a good business decision.

I see your point. We had Garnett's reaction which is the one many on here have and then you had your take on why it happened(and happens).
I'm not telling you who to be(I don't even know who I am), I'm just making an observation on the reaction to how you came off about the situation with Bizarre and Activision.
People fight pessimism with optimistic alternatives.
P.S. Are you saying that Jeff and Garnett AREN'T realists or practical???? :p
