Fight Night Champion Delivers the Sweet Science on March 1, 2011
by Xav de Matos, Nov 16, 2010 9:05am PSTAs was revealed at the EA Showcase in July, the sweet science is set to make a return to the EA Sports line-up with Fight Night Champion. Yesterday, the game's first trailer was released, revealing the game will launch for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 1, 2011.
Based on the game's trailer, Fight Night Champion seems to include a big narrative experience: rivals talk mess, promoters make threats, and a "hero" has to overcome odds. Just another day at the office of champions, I suppose.
According to Kotaku, the game's official EA page had listed the game as "the first ever 'M' rated EA Sports title," noting the game would authentically showcase "dynamic blood, realistic body damage and deformation, and mature content throughout." The official page has since removed the reference to its 'M' ESRB rating.
As of this posting, the ESRB website does not have a listing for the EA Canada-developed boxing title.

They need a new team to work on this series.
this is what the series lacked...the sensationalism and spectacle of boxing. UFC, take notice...i want this in the next game.
