de Blob 2 Releasing on February 22 for PS3, 360, Wii, and DS
by Brian Leahy, Nov 12, 2010 12:40pm PSTTHQ has set a release date for de Blob 2: February 22, 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS. This will also mark the series' debut on HD platforms as the first game was exclusive to the Wii and DS.
Not content to just make the jump to HD, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of de Blob 2 will also support 3D. The PS3 throws PlayStation Move support into the bag, as well.
The game, originally announced at E3 2010, was developed by Blue Tongue Entertainment for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, while HalfBrick handled the DS SKU. A new trailer can be seen below.

If you've got a wii, and haven't got De Blob. Get De Blob. It is charming, funny, colourful, offbeat and original. The game is also too easy (its aimed at kids, though adults can still enjoy it). It also lacks a save function, which forces you to play half and hour/hour solid to fully finish a level.
