Space Channel 5: Part 2, Sega Bass Fishing Coming to XBLA & PSN
by Alice O'Connor, Oct 20, 2010 5:40am PDTSega has announced another pair of Dreamcast classics will receive downloadable releases on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network in "early 2011," namely Sega Bass Fishing and the groove-tastic Space Channel 5: Part 2.
Celebrated dance 'em Space Channel 5: Part 2 was created by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, who went on to make Rez, and famously
features Michael Jackson. Sega Bass Fishing, on the other hand, well, was a fishing game, also released on Wii in 2008.
"The release of these games marks SEGA's ongoing effort to bring its best-sellers from the Dreamcast era to the latest consoles," said Haruki Satomi, Sega VP of digital business, in the announcement. "We want to enable a new generation of players to experience some of the most celebrated titles our video game history has to offer, while at the same time appealing to our enthusiastic and much appreciated community of fans."
Sega has yet to announced release dates and prices, though the first two Dreamcast re-releases, Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi, are priced at $10 (800 Microsoft Points) each. Sonic Adventure came out in September while Crazy Taxi is due in late November.
