Conduit 2 Now Due in February 2011
by Alice O'Connor, Oct 15, 2010 7:00am PDTAfter Conduit 2 was quietly delayed in September from this fall until the first quarter of 2011, publisher Sega has now formally announced that High Voltage Software's Wii-exclusive first-person shooter sequel will be released in February 2011.
"With the overwhelming positive response at both E3 and PAX, High Voltage Software came up with new ideas and took in fan feedback," Sega says. "Because of this, the game is extending its development a few more months in order to bring players the most complete shooter on Wii."
Planned additions include "additional modes, weapons and epic boss fights" plus support for Nintendo's Classic Controllers and the Headbanger Headset, a third-party voice communication peripheral. One imagines they might even slip in a little polish too.
The news is celebrated with new screenshots and the first Conduit 2 trailer.
