Report: MercurySteam Working on Castlevania Sequel
by Brian Leahy, Oct 11, 2010 1:40pm PDTEurogamer reports that developer MercurySteam is working on a sequel for its recently released Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. The news comes from composer Oscar Araujo, who told listeners, "if you liked the first [game], hope that the second is even more spectacular," on Spanish radio.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was released last week for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and was published by Konami. Hideo Kojima and his studio, Kojima Productions, assisted with the development of the game.
Konami has told Shacknews that it "does not comment on rumor or speculation. We hope everyone is enjoying Castlevania: Lords of Shadow."
