According to the game's latest trailer, the hijinks found within the XBLA and PC shooter Bloody Good Time are just around the wacky corner. The game is set to launch on October 27 for both the Xbox Live Arcade and PC.

Powered by the Source Engine and developed by The Ship developer Outerlight, Bloody Good Day is an eight-player, online first-person shooter following a crazy cast of characters, all vying for the starring role in a horror movie.

Each level takes place on various movie sets, housing the carnage as the cartoon-style characters attempt to murder each other in various ways. One of those ways includes an exploding rat, making this a strong contender for Game of the Century.
