Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Demo Coming October 12
by Jeff Mattas, Oct 05, 2010 2:00pm PDTIn what we hope isn't some sort of Jedi mind-trick, LucasArts has announced that the official playable demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 will be available for download via Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network on October 12.
According to LucasArts, here's what players have to look forward to:
The level focuses on the very beginning of the game, which takes in a secret cloning facility on the planet of Kamino. Starkiller, told by Vader he is no more than a clone, becomes tormented by the memories of his past and escapes into the rain-soaked planet with Vader not far behind.
Unleash the power of dual Lightsabers, over-top Force powers including the new Jedi Mind Trick, and get a first taste on a journey that will take Starkiller across the Galaxy in search of the truth behind his past, as well as the woman he cannot forget.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 commences with the choking and zapping on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii on October 26. The PSP version was cancelled a couple of months ago.

Got it off steam for cheap when it was on sale and I don't regret it one bit. It may not have been innovative in game play but it sure was fun and had a good story. Some say the combat got a bit stale after awhile. I suppose that is true, but the game for me, didn't drag on for that long, so I didn't notice it too much.

I know it would be hard to do since it has hack n' slash elements but I'd love to see a multiplayer along the lines of the multiplayer in Star Wars Jedi Academy.
